First Graders become engineers!

To compliment the First Grade's Animal and Habitat unit, the first graders will be assigned an animal to research in order to design a Zoo space for their animal that meets their needs, visitors safety, and viewing pleasures.  This project will span multiple weeks with the first meeting focusing on what a zoo needs.  The students were eager to share their ideas and came up with a great list of ideas and questions to ask the Zoo keepers so they can develop a great design!
